Jet8 jsou energická hardcore/punková kapela s dechovou sekcí z Prahy, která si rozhodně dělá hudbu po svém. Vedle tvrdých kytarových riffů dolaďují atmosféru neméně přímočaré dechy a nařvané zpěvy tak, že nevíš, jestli jsi se neocitl v jiné dimenzi. Textově pak často narážejí na současná bolestivá sociální témata, o kterých je v dnešní době potřeba mluvit. Na scéně působí již od roku 2005 a za tu
dobu vydali čtyři studiová alba. To poslední nese název „Chasing the High“. Kromě toho mají na kontě také dvě EP. Poslední nahrávka je tak split EP s kapelou The Shifty Grifts nazvané „Hands OFF!“. Inspirací pro aktuální tvorbu kapely je současná hardcore/punková scéna, kapely jako například Comeback Kid, Rise Against, nebo Strike Anywhere a současně anglická progresivní ska-coreová scéna, kde se více než kdekoliv jinde nechodí pro kombinaci hardcoru a metalu s mohutnými dechovými party daleko. Jet8 pravidelně koncertují v Anglii, Belgii, Švýcarsku, Francii, Německu a Španělsku. Jejich oblíbenými kapelami, se kterými si zahráli jsou např. Jaya The Cat, Random Hand, Authority Zero, Get Dead, Faintest Idea, nebo třeba legendární Dog Eat Dog, jejichž propojení s frontmanem Johnem vyústilo ve společný song „Stay On Track“.

guitar riffs, powerful straightforward horns, catchy baselines, pounding drums, loud & angry vocals, and
screams. That’s what the Jet8 music is all about. Their lyrics usually reflect present day social & political
issues because they believe these need to be addressed. The band was founded in 2005 and released four LP albums, (the latest one being Chasing The High) and two
EPs. The last piece is the split EP Hands OFF! released in 2021 and recorded in collaboration with their long-time friends The Shifty Grifts. The biggest influence for Jet8 is the contemporary hardcore/punk-rock scene, bands like Comeback Kid, Rise against, or Strike Anywhere to name a few. Another major source of inspiration is the UK
progressive ska-core scene where the combination of hardcore/metallic riffs and massive horns is „no big deal“. Jet8 tour UK, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany, and Spain on regular basis. Among the bands they had the pleasure of playing with you can find the likes of Jaya The Cat, Random Hand, Authority Zero, Get Dead, Faintest Idea, or even legendary Dog Eat Dog. Collaboration with DED’s singer John Connor resulted in the song called Stay On Track.
