By pressing and holding the button, it calls the first pre-set contact. If the call doesn’t go through, it automatically tries the next two numbers. You can also call back directly to the device, so communication works both ways.

👉 Besides calling, it also offers:

- medication reminders, including voice reminders,
- and low battery alerts.

✅ All of this can be used for free through a mobile app.

To use the SOS button, you need to insert a SIM card.

It won’t replace personal care or being close to your loved ones, but it can be a great helper, especially for older people who find using a regular phone uncomfortable or difficult. They can wear it on their wrist or around their neck and contact you with just one press of a button.

Some old tips from our grandmothers are priceless but when it comes to ticks, it’s better not to follow them. 😧

❌ Covering a tick with oil, petroleum jelly or cream? No. This can unnecessarily irritate the tick and may increase the risk of it releasing potentially infectious material into the bite wound.
❌ Waiting for it to fall off on its own? Also no.

A tick should be removed as soon as possible - carefully and correctly.

And by the way, ticks don’t jump from trees. They most often wait for us in grass, bushes or low vegetation. 🌳

✅ Use repellent, check yourself after spending time outdoors, and if you find a tick, don’t delay removing it.
