At Mon Gaston we brush our Galettes with salted butter. This adds extra taste 😋 and crispness 🤤.

Did you know 🧐 ? Salty butter is a common product from the Region Bretagne in France. In the year 1343 salt was exempt from tax in this Region , farmers could then get supplies in salt at a lower price then other Regions in France. They used it mostly with the other top product of Bretagne : Butter 😃! Since then salty butter has introduced itself in every house 🏠.
