• 🧪 Viscous/cloudy samples: Dilute, centrifuge, filter—or use larger particles (Strata-X 33 µm; Strata XL 100 µm).
• ⚙️ Low manifold pressure: Check the SPE manifold, instrumentation, and individual positions; often appears in conditioning/blanks.
• 🌊 Immiscible solvents: Avoid non-miscible pairs (e.g., hexane + water); issues show up during conditioning/blanks.
• 🧬 Precipitation/proteins: After loading, clogs can form; dilute, reduce volume, avoid denaturing solvents, and add a low ionic strength buffer wash.

• 🔍 Tip: Note exactly when the flow stalls, then change one variable at a time to pinpoint the root cause and restore performance fast.
