Jennifer moved from Florida to Prague five years ago and experienced a dramatic shift in how she used her body. Transitioning from a car-centered, flat environment to navigating cobblestones, hills, stairs, and public transport, she quickly realized the need for improved balance, strength, stability, and endurance —
especially after spraining both ankles.
Motivated by the importance of weight-bearing exercise for bone density, muscle mass, and overall health, Jennifer knew she needed guidance. Having never lifted weights before, she began training with a personal trainer at Advance Training.

Serhii Kozin, PhD is a personal trainer and physical therapist specializing in strength training, injury prevention, and posture correction. His approach combines evidence-based training with practical rehabilitation experience to help people move better, get stronger, and train safely for long-term progress.
Serhii holds a Ph.D. focused on injury prevention and has several years of experience working in orthopedic and rehabilitation clinics as a sports physiotherapist. There, he helped clients recover after injuries, improve movement quality, and return confidently to physical activity.
He also specializes in scoliosis and posture correction, working extensively with children, teenagers, and adults with postural dysfunctions and movement limitations. His coaching focuses on proper technique, progressive strength development, muscle hypertrophy, and sustainable long-term results.
Alongside his clinical work, Serhii teaches at a university, allowing him to stay connected to the latest research in training methodology, rehabilitation, and movement science.
Before transitioning fully into coaching and physiotherapy, Serhii competed as a professional athlete in sport climbing and bouldering — experiences that shaped his disciplined and movement-focused approach to training.
As part of the Advance Training coaching team, Serhii’s mission is simple: help people build strong, healthy, aesthetic bodies while improving movement, reducing pain, and feeling better both inside and outside the gym.

Meet Dan Omcirk – Strength, Performance & Boxing Coach
Dan Omcirk is a personal trainer and sport scientist specializing in strength development, athletic performance, and long-term physical progress. His athletic background began with soccer, later expanding into rowing and amateur boxing — experiences that shaped his structured and performance-driven coaching style.
He specializes in strength and conditioning, while also applying exercise in a rehabilitative context to help clients safely return to training, rebuild strength, and restore efficient movement mechanics. In addition, Dan coaches boxing-based training focused on technical precision, power development, coordination, and progressive load management.
Dan studied physical education and sport at Charles University, where he completed his Ph.D. in sport science. He also gained international research experience at Sheffield Hallam University, working with the Boxing Science team in the UK.
His approach connects science with practical coaching. Using performance monitoring and evidence-based methods, he ensures training is effective, safe, and sustainable.
As part of the Advance Training coaching team, Dan’s mission is clear: help people train smarter, move better, and build lasting strength.
