Thinking a lot today about the women who shaped my life.

My wife and I have been together since sophomore year of college in 1997, which means we’ve basically grown up together. Watching her become a mom has been one of the great joys of my life. She’s the emotional center of this family in so many ways, and the way she loves our kids is steady, patient, fierce, funny, and incredibly beautiful to watch up close.

My mom is the person who taught me to lean into creativity just because it brings life. Not to impress anybody. Not to turn it into performance. Just to stay curious and keep making things.

And my stepmom has shown me what it looks like to truly welcome people in and love a family well. She has a way of making people feel like they belong, and our family is better because of it.

Really grateful for all three of them today. Happy Mother’s Day.

Recording with a symphony orchestra has been a lifelong dream of mine.

So when the opportunity came to work with the world-renowned , I didn’t hesitate. My wife and I flew to Prague (add it to your bucket list — and yes, get a trdelník). We stepped into the studio where more than 60 world-class musicians were tuning their instruments… and then it happened.

The first song we recorded was All of Me — reimagined as a sweeping, cinematic, full-orchestra experience. When the strings entered on that first downbeat, it felt like heaven stepped into the room. I’ll never forget it.

This project had more moving parts than anything I’ve ever done — charts crossing continents, 4am FaceTimes, navigating studio logistics in another language — and somehow it all converged into something beautiful.

I’m so proud of this one. And I hope when you listen, you don’t just hear strings —
I hope you feel them.
