Entry group 36:

⏳ Should the times not fit you, we also provide individual trainings at your preferred times.

In 2025 we visited Mexico for Fechtschule MX, organised by Arturo Camargo.

He was kind enough to give us a small interview as well. (🔗Link in the comments)

Arturo Camargo is a history graduate, with over 18 years of experience in martial arts and a Certified Coach through the Universidad del Deporte in Mexico.

In 2008, he founded Krigerskole, now one of the largest schools of historical martial arts in Mexico with branches in 3 cities.
He is a eight-time HEMA national champion (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023*, 2025) with 4 different weapons and has medaled in various international competitions. He has also trained 3 other national champions in Mexico, and several international medalist.

As instructor he has presented workshops and lectures at international events in the United States and Europe, including Fechtschule America, Longpoint, Combat Con and ILHG.

He is also a published author. In 2021, he published his translation of Sigmund Ringeck's Art of Combat with the Longsword, and in 2023 the follow up translation of Andre Liegnietzer’s Art of Combat with Sword and Buckler, besides publishing several articles on the development of Historical Fencing during the late Middle Ages and early renaissance.
