Time to glaze with us again! We are currently exploring the absolute magic of the RHC from Spectrum and how it combines with glazes. Honestly, there is a giant field for experiments here!

Today we’re working on a plate, and the final result totally reminds me of a turtle shell. 🐢

The Layering Recipe:

Outside:
• 3 layers of Amaco PC-33 Iron Lustre

Inside:
1. 2 layers of Amaco PC-33 Iron Lustre
2. Dots with Spectrum RHC (2 layers)
3. 2 layers of Amaco PC-25 Textured Turquoise

🔥 Fired to: 1220°C with a 15-minute hold.

Recept na vrstvení:

Zvenku:
• 3 vrstvy Amaco PC-33 Iron Lustre

Uvnitř:
1. 2 vrstvy Amaco PC-33 Iron Lustre
2. Tečky glazurou Spectrum RHC (2 vrstvy)
3. 2 vrstvy Amaco PC-25 Textured Turquoise

🔥 Páleno na: 1220 °C s výdrží 15 minut.

Consider this a public service announcement: red glazes are ruthlessly intense and will NOT wash out of your clothes! But honestly? This splashing technique was so quick and incredibly fun.

The secret tool? A cheap electric milk frother! 🥛🌪️

The Recipe:

1️⃣ Outside: 2 layers of SM-10 Clear Satin. I wanted to keep the exterior calm and neutral so it wouldn’t distract from the inside.
2️⃣ Inside Base: 2 layers of Amaco PC-19 Moon River.
3️⃣ The Splatter: Amaco PC-56 Ancient Copper & PC-65 Black Aventurine. Just dip the milk frother, hit the button, and let it fly!

⚠️ Pro tip: Wear an apron or a hazmat suit. Otherwise, you’ll ruin your wardrobe like I did. But hey, the result is totally worth trying!

Berte to jako veřejné varování: červené glazury jsou brutálně intenzivní a prostě se nevyperou! Ale upřímně? Tahle technika cákání byla rychlá a neskutečně mě bavila.

Tajná zbraň? Obyčejný elektrický napěňovač mléka! 🥛🌪️

Recept:

1️⃣ Zvenku: 2 vrstvy SM-10 Clear Satin. Chtěla jsem nechat vnějšek klidný a neutrální, aby nerušil ten vnitřek.
2️⃣ Vnitřní základ: 2 vrstvy Amaco PC-19 Moon River.
3️⃣ Cákance: Amaco PC-56 Ancient Copper a PC-65 Black Aventurine. Stačí namočit napěňovač, zmáčknout čudlík a nechat to lítat!

⚠️ Profi tip: Vezměte si zástěru nebo rovnou skafandr. Jinak si zničíte šatník jako já. Ale ten výsledek za to fakt stojí vyzkoušet!

Glaze combo reveal 👇

This piece made me so happy! I honestly thought the result would be much brighter, but even with these moody, muted tones, the colors perfectly complement each other. It’s pure magic.

Here is the exact glazing recipe:

Outside:
1. 2 coats of Amaco PC-18 Tucson Blue all over. (With 2 coats it stays almost matte!).
2. 2 coats of Spectrum RHC 1173 applied as dots near the rim (it loves to float and run, so keep it high!).
3. 2 coats of Amaco PC-42 Teal Drift (leave the bottom 3cm clean).

Inside:
1. 2 coats of PC-42 Teal Drift.
2. 2 coats of Spectrum RHC 1173 (applied as bigger and smaller dots).
3. 2 coats of Amaco PC-33 Iron Lustre right over all the inside glazes.

The Rim:
Wipe it totally clean from previous layers, then apply 3 solid coats of PC-33 Iron Lustre for a sharp, clean accent.

🇨🇿 Nečekaný výsledek, ale jsem ZAMILOVANÁ! 💙✨ Odhalení kombinace glazur 👇

Tenhle kousek mi udělal obrovskou radost! Upřímně jsem čekala, že výsledek bude mnohem zářivější, ale i v těchto tlumených tónech k sobě barvy dokonale ladí. Je to prostě magie.

Tady je přesný recept na glazování:

Zvenku:
1. 2 vrstvy Amaco PC-18 Tucson Blue na celé vnější stěny. (Při 2 vrstvách zůstává téměř matná!).
2. 2 vrstvy Spectrum RHC 1173 nanesené v tečkách blízko okraje (tahle glazura ráda stéká, takže ji držte v horní části!).
3. 2 vrstvy Amaco PC-42 Teal Drift (spodní 3 cm nechte úplně čisté).

Vnitřek:
1. 2 vrstvy PC-42 Teal Drift.
2. 2 vrstvy Spectrum RHC 1173 (nanesené jako větší i menší tečky).
3. 2 vrstvy Amaco PC-33 Iron Lustre přímo přes všechny vnitřní glazury.

Okraj:
Očistěte ho od všech předchozích glazur a naneste 3 vrstvy PC-33 Iron Lustre pro čistý a výrazný akcent.
