About Awards

Très Chic Fashion Designer is the competition for pioneer fashion designers. Their high fashion designs are rated by the professional jury panel ( with fashion designer Beata Rajská as its Chairman in 2016 edition ) and the winner takes money-prize 50.000,- Kč ( 1800 EUR ) for its future development in fashion as well as the support in marketing and future clients/customers or cooperation with foreign countries.

Très Chic Fashion Designer is the part of Ostrava Fashion Weekend.

Designers are applying the contest from 1/January 2016 until 31/March 2016

For finalists there is „turn-key“ fashion show of their competition collection.

20/April 2016 all finalists will be published at Ostrava Fashion Weekend official website.

Competitors have to:

1) Apply the contest via registration form in the „Registration“ box on website and send it to mail address listed below the form.

2) Cover the registration fee 54,- EUR according to bank details stated in the Registration box on website.

3) In case of passing the final round 7.5.2016 the competitor must be ready with his collection for runway presentation.

The collection must contain from 10 to 15 looks in high fashion style, the collection is ready-to-wear and it follows up-to-date fashion trends. Designers should pay attention to material selection as well as sewing technology.

Official registration website www.ofw.cz will be published within January 2016.
