This photo was taken during one of the hardest periods I’ve ever gone through.
A time when I had no idea who I was, what my values were, or where I was heading.
A time when I let someone deeply unstable into my world — someone who broke me emotionally and mentally, piece by piece.

But looking at this picture now, I see something else too.
Even people who are struggling with their own minds, who carry their own trauma, can sometimes see the essence in us — the parts we forget, the parts we abandon, the parts we stop believing in.

Mental instability doesn’t come out of nowhere.
Some people become this way because life, or parents, or circumstances were much harsher to them than anyone ever deserved.
And in that chaos, you can experience the worst… but also, strangely, the most beautiful moments.

This photo carries both — the darkest memories and the brightest ones.
The pain, the confusion, the lessons… and the woman I eventually became.

And today, I look at her with love.

Here I worked with a very light, airy shading, focusing only on the inner part of the brow to softly enhance her natural shape. No harsh lines, no strong borders — just a gentle highlight of what she already has.
