The fulcrum of Christianity is the forgiveness of sins, without forgiveness there can be no salvation. The blood of Christ shed once, paid the eternal price for sins, a price to never be paid again. It was a once and for all done deal!

The Jewish high priest goes into the Most Holy Place every year with the blood of an animal. But Christ did not go in to offer himself many times, for then he would have had to suffer many times ever since the creation of the world. Instead, now when all ages of time are nearing the end, he has appeared once and for all, to remove sin through the sacrifice of himself.
(Heb 9:25-26)

The sacrifice of Christ was enough to cover me for all eternity! Far superior to the blood of bulls and goat! I place my trust in what He has done, that I have been forgiven and I shall rise again together with Him in Glory!
