WILLEMSTAD - Is MiTOKO.com closing?
Curaçao's first and only online supermarket is closing its e-store doors on Thursday, June 30th.
Half a year ago, MiTOKO.com launched the e-groceries beta website, while helping customers save time. The pilot consisted of online ordering with the choice between Home Delivery by CPost and free Pick-Up.
The start-up's plans are yet to be announced, but its founders are excited about what is to come:
"At this moment, we can't say much about MiTOKO.com's next chapter. You'll have to let us surprise you with it. But, we can and want to say this: Thank you! To our customers; we can't begin to explain what your support and enthusiasm means to us. Please forgive us for the suddenness of this news. Stay put though, good things are on their way, we promise it will be worth the wait."
