One thing not too smart about the APC opposition is the idea that a ruling party is always likely stronger in a political move or campaign towards election especially in a black man's country for so the opposition party must make sure there's no single selfish interest in them and that be the strongest clue to weaken the ruling party.

If you got different views, forms and goals which might led to separation it becomes an opportunity to strengthen for the ruling party to success. For APC in nigeria to like feel weakened and doubtful all opposition must be under one call else it's still going to be the normal ranting and noise making to APC.
