𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭!

We are proud to announce that our alumni Mr. Dkawlma Tora, from Togo and member of the 2nd cohort of the Master’s Research Programme on Climate Change and Marine Sciences (MRP-CCMS), has published a scientific article in the journal Coasts (MDPI).

The study, “𝐶𝑜𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑉𝑢𝑙𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑅𝑖𝑠𝑘 𝐴𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑦𝑠𝑖𝑠 𝐴𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑇𝑜𝑔𝑜”, presents the first fine-scale assessment of coastal vulnerability in the country, identifying erosion hotspots and risks to communities, and offering valuable insights for coastal management and adaptation strategies.

Congratulations to Mr. Tora for this important contribution to science and to the resilience of West African coastal regions.
