Every body is different. Not only do we all have different bodies but also personalities, different goals, and different styles, but physically, we all obviously have different appearances. Tall or short…curvy or lean…it is not hard to “figure” out that we come in figures of all shapes and sizes. Everybody is different…and every BODY is DIFFERENT. We have been blessed with our bodies and in return, we should always strive to be as healthy and fit as we possibly can. ​​​​​​​​

A little bit about consistency...Let’s say your goal is to drop 5kg, improve your fitness levels and generally tone up. These are fairly standard fitness goals. To achieve those goals, you would have to change your eating habits, your exercise habits and parts of your lifestyle. You would also have to be consistent in those changes over time to see results.​​​​​​​​
In other words, whatever positive changes you made would have to be repeated consistently if you wanted to make any significant changes to your health and achieve your goals.
BUT unfortunately, this approach is somewhat rare in our modern ‘quick-fix solution’ society. My clients know that I am not a supporter of the ‘yo-yo’ or ‘on-off’ approach to their health and fitness. Periods of “being good” or “getting back into it” when you exercise more often are often followed by longer periods of “being bad” or “falling off the wagon” when 'life gets in a way'.​​​​​​​​
With this approach, your body simply has no time to adapt and the result is little (if any) progress towards your goals and perhaps even ending up in a worse place than when you started and a possible injury.​​​​​​​​
So, start off with exercising a couple of times per week and stick to it for a while. Make it your minimum. Be consistent. You will see the results, reach your goals and your body will thank you for it.​​​​​​​​

PART 3 Appreciating all that is around us ...What is within us is amazing, but so is what is in everyone else, and life all around us. Appreciating all this comes from within.
So the key skill is to learn to notice, accept and appreciate everything around us, and everyone we see and interact with.
We all have flaws, and we should celebrate and appreciate them, and use them as reasons to be happy to be alive. Once we are able to do this, we can see the wonder in every little thing around us, and inside us.
And then we realize that life is a true joy, in every moment, if we simply pay attention and appreciate it.

So, physical fitness, appreciation, gratefulness, and acceptance is my key to happiness.
