Regional cooperation also means working responsibly behind the scenes 🧐
At today's 12th meeting of our Budget Committee, held in Belgrade, members reviewed how our Secretariat implemented its work in 2025 and discussed the financial planning for 2026.
Chaired by the European Commission, the meeting brought together representatives of our regional partners and the Secretariat to look at key topics:
🔹 2025 Annual Operational Report
🔹 budget implementation and financial planning
🔹 support for observing participants
🔹 payment schedules and next financial steps
🔹 human resources overview
Good governance may not always be the most visible part of regional cooperation, but it is what helps keep our work credible, organised and focused on results. Strong cooperation needs strong foundations. This is one of them 🎯
