Reading and writing workshops this summer! Does your student need a boost in comprehension, vocabulary or fluency? Join our reading and writing workshops this summer to build language arts skills through creative and fun reading and writing activities. Often, summer is the time when students fall out of practice with their school work-enroll your students in reading and writing workshops to ensure that they stay on top of the skills they work so hard to acquire during the academic school year!

Students will:
-spend time reading age/level appropriate books that are both interesting and challenging
-have one on one attention to ensure that comprehension and fluency are addressed
-build vocabulary through meaningful activities that use authentic practice strategies
-practice writing reports to promote comprehension
-practice the steps of writing an opinion editorial with guidance from start to finish
