menu is fusion, shared small plates with inspirations from the chef's travels, as well as her influences growing up. Behind the bar, we have Colin Tait, a veteran bartender, who most recently managed the cocktails at Bankok's Vesper, just named the best bar in Thailand and 17th best bar in Asia. The music at Shake is classic soul and funk made famous by the likes of James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles. You'll hear some of the top singers in the city, including Cherry Brown, Naomi Fitch, and Hazel Gould, together with the Hip Shakers, a high charged 6 piece band that includes a great core of musicians to get the beat grooving.
