📣 APFNet officially released its Fourth Strategic Plan (SP4) for 2026–2030, setting an ambitious and inclusive roadmap to advance forest landscape restoration and sustainable management, strengthen climate response, biodiversity conservation and livelihood development, and deepen regional cooperation across the Asia-Pacific.

On 9 April 2026, a delegation from The Nature Conservancy (TNC) led by Ms. D**g Ke, Director of Global Engagement for TNC China, visited the APFNet Secretariat and held talks with Dr. Wang Chunfeng, Executive Director of APFNet. The two sides had in-depth discussions on deepening regional cooperation and sharing conservation experiences.

From 9 to 13 March 2026, a team led by Dr. Wang Chunfeng, Executive Director of the APFNet, visited to Anhui and Hainan Provinces to review the progress of two APFNet-funded projects: the “Demonstration Project on Forest Restoration and Sustainable Management in the Hilly and Low Mountain Areas of Southern China” and the “Hainan Tropical Forest Restoration and Sustainable Management Project.”
