RELAXATION SUNDAY IN THE GoMAD COMMUNITY

Today was indeed a practical move for the relaxation term. A little parable was shared in the community saying" All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy " which therefore led to a moment of reflection on our day spent.

Members gladly expressed themselves as their responses were based on moments of rest, relaxation, enjoyment while others were based on reality of busy days and the occurrence of unexpected situations that reminds us how fragile life can be and the need for a reset and quiet time.

It was further shown how important it is to to pause at times, be honest and staying aware of where we truly are as growth is being manifested through our consistency and checks in daily.

The day ended with special words of support to a brethren who passed through difficult moments today as the community embodied itself as a whole family staying grateful to God always.

GoMAD Commemorates Labour Day and Unveils First Community Member of the Month

The GoMAD (Go Make A Difference) Community ushered in the month of May with a meaningful Labour Day celebration, honoring the dedication, resilience, and contributions of its members. In his address, Community Director Godlove Njisong emphasized the value of consistency and commitment, recognizing both visible contributions and the often-overlooked efforts behind the scenes.

Members were also encouraged to reflect on and share their recent milestones.

A defining moment of the celebration was the unveiling of the community’s inaugural Community Member of the Month, awarded to Jobain M Francisca fondly known as Ma Sono.

A seasoned ultrasound specialist with over 13 years of professional experience, Francisca was recognized for her outstanding service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to community growth.

She is the co-founder of Trans-plant Cameroon, a community-focused ultrasound center based in Mutengene, dedicated to delivering accessible and affordable healthcare services. Beyond her professional accomplishments, her consistent engagement, willingness to support fellow members, and proactive sharing of opportunities have distinguished her as a pillar within the GoMAD community.

In recognition of her impact, she was presented with a customized GoMAD notebook—a multifunctional package featuring a calendar, an 8000 mAh power bank with multiple charging ports, and an integrated flash drive.

This recognition marks a significant step in reinforcing GoMAD’s culture of excellence, intentional contribution, and community-driven impact.
