A Landmark Victory for Women and Girls Across Africa!
The 38th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly has officially adopted the African Union End Violence Against Women and Girls Conventionthe first comprehensive continental instrument dedicated to eradicating violence against women and girls in Africa.
For Cameroon, it presents a critical opportunity to reinforce national frameworks, support grassroots initiatives, and uphold the rights and dignity of every woman and girl.
This is a victory for survivors, activists, and change-makers who have fought tirelessly for a safer, more just Africa. Now, we must turn commitments into action!
