Discovery: OKAWA SHAZNAY.

Here is Okawa Shaznay. She is the first Cameroonian to successfully break into Nollywood Industry.

She hails from Bamenda, North West Region Of Cameroon and successfully penetrated the NollyWood industry with her role in the blockbuster movie Iyore starring Rita Dominic and Joseph Benjamin.

Also, Okawa Shaznay gained more prominence with her leading role in the 2016 hit TV series Delilah: The Mysterious Case of Delilah Ambrose. This earned her the Exquisite Lady of the Year (ELOY) award for TV Actress of the year in 2016. This was for her role in this TV series.

She has been one of the most aired faces on AFRICA MAGIC SHOWCASE for years now.

The public didn’t know she was Cameroonian till last year when she consistently showed support for the Indomitable lions of Cameroon during the World Cup tournament. Many thought she was Nigerian and some even thought she was Ghanaian.

She originates precisely from Oshie in Momo Division and she’s a proud one at that. She did her secondary school education in Presbyterian Secondary School Mankon, Bamenda before later moving to the United States. There, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas Southern University.
