Moving forward with some colors after discovering that the supposed green color of the fuselage and wings is actually a mahogany color. I will have to make some preliminary mixtures and test them on plastic pieces before using them on the kit. As I progressed with the side red tone of the fuselage and the polished stainless steel of the engine fairing, which, while looking very bright, will have more opaque tones added to the different panels to make it look less uniform and more realistic.
The other tone that makes up the fuselage is the woodgrain texture behind and on the sides of the cabin, which I will achieve by applying the woodgrain decals sold by HGW. These decals require a white base and decalfix to fix them
More progress soon.

Thank you Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum!

Recently KV.97 Workbench reached out to us to show the excellent model he made of our Stuka Dive Bomber in restoration. We thought his work was fantastic and felt it needed to be shared!

If you have a deep love for FHCAM and have made creations such as this, reach out to us at [email protected] to potentially have your creation highlighted.

The real Stuka remains in Charlie Hangar in partially restored condition and is available to see during normal business Thursday-Saturday 10am-5pm.
