On 1st July 2026, Paula Januszkiewicz, CEO of CQURE and CQURE Academy, participated in the meeting of the Presidium of the Program Council of the Poland Total Security Congress and the Defence Horizon Committee. During the discussion, she shared the following perspectives:
1. Paula shared her perspective on the need for stronger cybersecurity awareness campaigns aimed at Polish citizens, emphasizing that public education remains an essential component of improving the country’s overall cyber resilience.
2. She highlighted the importance of establishing a central cybersecurity testing hub that organizations could leverage to ensure a consistent, measurable, and high standard of cybersecurity assessments across the market.
3. Drawing on her experience managing major cyber incidents, she observed that many organizations affected by serious breaches had previously undergone pe*******on testing. This raises an important question: whether the quality of some pe*******on tests is insufficient, whether organizations fail to implement the recommended hardening measures, or whether both factors contribute to the problem.
Quality has always been one of the core professional values at CQURE and a principle deeply embedded in our culture. In cybersecurity, a mass-production approach and short-term thinking are ineffective. Lasting security requires technical excellence, rigorous standards, and a long-term commitment to quality. Cybersecurity MUST be comprehensive, consistent, and complete.
The meeting brought together distinguished representatives from government, industry, academia, and the cybersecurity community, including:
Michał Kalinowski, Tomasz Reszel, Piotr Stepniewicz, Katarzyna Piotrowska-Radziewicz, Bartosz Józefowski, Daniel Ladno, Marzena Farion-Rzeźniczak, Agata Pietrzyk, Wojciech Wysocki, Marcin Gałuszkiewicz, Radosław Mackiewicz, Krzysztof Dyki, Piotr Zesiuk, Aneta Pernak, Monika Nowak, Matylda Matecka, Konrad Wojnarowski, Artur Dąbrowski, Andrzej Dopierała, Paula Januszkiewicz, Leon Komornicki, Przemysław Kuna, Małgorzata Bjørum, Michał Sobolewski, Leszek Stachowiak, Tomasz Zakrzewski, Wojciech Milke, Artur Jakubczyk, Ryszard Madziar, Piotr Rutkowski, Jacek Babczyński, Rafał Biały, Piotr Ciepiela, Jacek Cyrek, Przemysław Gęsiak, Jarosław Misztal, Zbigniew Muszyński, Radosław Nielek, PhD, Jacek Terpiłowski, Paweł Tkaczyk, Tomasz Zdzikot, Tomasz Badowski, Wojciech Barański, Tomasz Bąk, Dawid Petrów, Krzysztof Cedrowski, Wojciech Dalka, Sławomir Peptoński, Jędrzejczak Łukasz
