Seit 2011 öffnen die ETH Zürich und die Universität Zürich an einem Wochenende ihre Hauptgebäude und laden die Bevölkerung ein, Wissenschaft quasi am «Ort des Geschehens» zu erleben. Die «Scientifica» ist jeweils einem Schwerpunktthema gewidmet, zu dem die beiden Hochschulen in verschiedenen Disziplinen forschen.
«Scientifica» beinhaltet verschiedene Formate, die sich an die interessierte Öffentlichkeit richten, sowie spezielle Aktivitäten für Kinder.

Scientifica takes place at three locations: Zentrum, Hönggerberg and Irchel. They are connected by a shuttle bus by VBZ Züri-Linie. The service is free of charge. The bus goes from the center via Hönggerberg to Irchel and from there back to the center and takes you directly to the Scientifica site. 🚌
