As JEACP continues to grow, the Author Guidelines have been comprehensively revised to provide clearer guidance and further support transparency, reproducibility, and consistency throughout the publishing process.

The update introduces clearer and more detailed requirements aligned with current publishing and editorial best practices, including a practical submission checklist to help authors prepare their manuscripts.

These improvements aim to support a more transparent and efficient publishing experience for authors, reviewers, and readers alike.

An 83-year-old woman with ulcerative colitis presents with a 1-year history of a progressively enlarging lesion on the left lower extremity.

Initially, the lesion appeared as a poorly demarcated, non-tender erythematous plaque. Multiple courses of antibiotics were prescribed for suspected cellulitis, but no improvement was observed.
