Have you heard about the 'Climate Strike', the worldwide student movement launched in order to demand action in preventing further global warming and climate change ?

The movement reached EPFL, where a group of Bachelor and Master students wrote a petition urging the EPFL presidency to take ambitious actions to fight climate change. We, at the ADSV, want SV PhD students to also have the opportunity to support this initiate (link below).

Come join the ADSV for an after-work wine tasting!

We all know the beautiful vineyards just outside of Lausanne. But do you also know the taste of the precious sap from the fruit of these vines? On July 2, 19:00 at EPFL we are organising a guided wine-tasting.

We will have 6 different wines side-by-side to discover the similarities, and especially, the fundamental differences between the wines that grow on the West-side (La côte) vs. East-side (Lavaux) of Lausanne.

While ADSV can subsidise parts of the cost we will still ask for a small contribution of 6.- for ADSV-members (SV PhDs) or 10.- for non-members.
