🌾 One Year Of Efforts for Farmers in Ukraine

Over the past year, FSD has supported efforts in Chernihiv Oblast to return agricultural land to safe use and reduce the risks posed by mines and explosive remnants of war.

More than 100 potentially dangerous areas were identified, covering around 467 hectares. At the same time, over 400 hectares of land were confirmed as safe, allowing communities to access and use their land again.

These efforts contribute to restoring livelihoods and supporting Ukraine’s recovery.

💙 A Day to Do Good

This weekend, FSD joined organised by Coop in Geneva to raise awareness about humanitarian demining and its impact on communities affected by conflict.

Events like these are important because they create space for dialogue and solidarity, and serve as a meaningful reminder of why humanitarian demining work matters: Behind every cleared minefield, there are families returning home, children playing safely again, and communities rebuilding their futures.
