'I don't feel like I should dedicate my life to you guys': Mom lets 20-year-old sister move in with her family on the condition she provides childcare, she protests when she's expected to babysit
This was the case between two sisters when the older one, who was a wife and mother, agreed to let her move in with her husband and kids on the condition that she would watch her younger child for a weekly stipend.
While the younger sister initially agreed to the agreement, she soon claimed it was too demanding on her mental health, and her duties dropped down to occasional babysitting only.
Two years later, she was working again, but contributing little to the household in terms of chores or finances. When she complained about being expected to babysit on one occasion after work, her older sibling began to wonder if it would be wrong to ask her to move out.

Even those with close relationships are not immune to being pulled into the petty squabbles that come with being at close quarters with family members,...
'Soup of the day implies another, possibly even seductive, soup of the night': 23 Memes and posts to get you through the day
We all need a little boon every now and then. And I'm not talking about Benson. No, we all need little miracles to get us through the day. Maybe it's the bus arriving right after we get to the station. Maybe it's that first sip of your post-lunch Diet Coke. Maybe it's a text from a friend that lets you know they're thinking of you. Or maybe it's memes from the internet.
Memes from the internet are the perfect antidote to whatever you're feeling. They will make your day just a hair brighter, and sometimes that's all it takes. They will take you out of your slump and into something beautiful, something worth celebrating. Memes are here for me, and they're here for you. They're here for all of us; they don't discriminate. They just want you to have a good time, no matter who you are or where you come from. It's why we keep coming back to the internet. We just can't get enough of those funny little images and posts that make us feel seen.

'You can play house [with] my dad, but don't patronize me': 26-year-old puts Dad's new 28-year-old girlfriend in her place when she starts acting like a strict stepmother on family vacation
When parents split up, it can be traumatizing for their kids, but not as traumatizing as the moment those same parents relaunch themselves into the dating pool. While children of split households yearn for the reformation of their parental union, it's not always in the parents' best interest. However, when this dad decided to get back into the game of love, he started fishing in the shallow end.
After falling in love with a woman who was only two years older than his eldest daughter, he realized the error of his ways chasing younger women. Because there's one thing a daughter will always fight for, and that's her father's affection. So if she needs to battle Daddy's 28-year-old girlfriend, the gloves are definitely coming off.

‘It’s my home too': Brothers buy a house together, then after 11 years, the eldest gets married, and tries to kick out his sibling to start a family
A pair of brothers bought a house together, but when the time came for one of them to want the place just to himself, their relationship became rocky. The problem is that they both bought it together: their names are on the mortgage together, they made a down payment together, and they've both lived there for over a decade.
So the question remains. Who gets dibs on a shared home?
The eldest brother with a new wife who wants to start a family of his own? Or the younger brother who doesn't mind their shared living situation? Frankly, in a dispute between simple roommates, it's usually the one who wants a place of their own who's responsible for finding a new place to live, but this older brother felt that he was entitled to kick lil' bro out on the curb, just because he wanted to redecorate his room into a nursery.
