Did you know healthy bone mass is critical to healthy aging?
Whether it is running and jumping with your children, or walking on high heels, we need strong bones which are also essential to a healthy immune system.
A loss of bone mass is the precursor to osteoporosis, and women are particularly at risk because with the decline in estrogen – which start to decline as early as the mid 30s/early 40s but which is never measured until a woman shows major signs calcium loss, usually only in her 50s.
To prevent this natural erosion, the only proven method is via a mechanical stress on the bone, i.e. resistance training. Minimum 3x / week, more often if issues already present.
