Study Week Kazakhstan

Our second business meeting was at the Embassy of Switzerland in Kazakhstan. Ambassador Urs Schmid and Head of Trade Point Pavel Ivanov explained to us the main tasks of the embassy and their point of view regarding MICE Tourism and Nursultans progress as a city.

Today we had our first business meeting with Astana Convention Bureau. Amina and Helena gave us important information about the MICE tourism existing in Nursultan and the plans for the future. We got a deeper understandig of what it means to build up a MICE destination and how the city's name can change the perception of the destination.
