The company was founded by a group of professional dancers who have worked internationally. Thanks to numerous cooperations with artists from various disciplines, the company explores original formats around the presentation of stage works and installation performances. UNPLUSH COMPANY investigates the effects, a specific environment has on people’s behaviour and bodies, particularly the physical transformations that occur in critical situations. The pieces present a chosen situation in a tragicomic way and critically explore the breaking points between the characters. Humour is used to emancipate oneself from violence, mocking the symbols of power.
