All the necklaces and jewelry are made in my atelier in Bern, Switzerland. Each of them comes with an explanation of the properties of the stones and/or metals used. Born in New Jersey, U.S.A. in 1954, I already had an interest for stones as a child. At age 16 I began making simple jewelry with sterling silver, copper and gemstones because I was fascinated by the mineral world. I felt that there must be more to them than just their beauty though and so began a journey, a journey that I am still on...to discover their healing and supportive properties. Since in those days there wasn’t much literature on that subject, I collected most of my knowledge by visiting with people who could teach me something on my travels thru the U.S., Europe, Asia and North Africa. I moved to Switzerland in the 70‘s where I’ve been working since more than 35 years with gemstones and metals under consideration of their individual properties.
