I get to tell the story of the last 7 years often, as I get asked ALL the time: "How long have you been open?".  So, let me tell you her story...
..I started this shop 7 years ago on June 3, 2019 - the day I was supposed to return to work after my final maternity leave. At first it was all online, and I did some pop ups. Then, the pandemic. I settled in for a 4 month pop up in Panache Management on Corydon, but it was cut short due to restrictions so I started offering fitting appointments where I would take a bin to customers' homes for them to try on. A 6 month pop up at Nest Family Centre followed, and I think I can say was the turning point as I was blown away by the response and knew it was time for her own 'home'. 4 months later I found Kenny Street, got possession 2 months after that, and opened the doors October 1, 2022.

Lucky is an understatement that I get to do what I love every day. Humbled, is what I am always by all the support that is given to me and this shop from family, friends, customers & consignors.

The lifespan of a maternity customer is short & sweet, so when I think of the number of people I have met over the last 7 years, it is overwhelming.

I'm lucky to have you all. Thank you.

What is the best book you have read lately?
"I'm trying to get out of my reading comfort zone this year with more translated and speculative fiction. Currently devouring On the Calculation of Volume by Solvej B***e."

What surprised you most about pregnancy/motherhood?
"What surprised me most about motherhood was how much community there was to be found! Between free, public drop-in groups and parent and baby activities, I forged a lot of lasting friendships thanks to motherhood." 

Any tips for the newly pregnant Mamas or the new Mamas with little ones?
"My tip? You probably don't need to log it in the app. You've got this!"
