Villa Rosa provides pre- and post-natal services and supports in a safe and nurturing environment to women who are pregnant or have recently given birth. Any pregnant woman or new mother may access our services free of charge. POP ART!! Our students in Art class learned about the Pop Art movement of the 1950s. Each student chose an item from popular culture to represent as a sculpture.
They designed and built their own armatures from old cardboard, covered them with plaster of paris and then pained them with bright engaging colours! The results turned out so fun and whimsical and were able to be displayed at our volunteer tea.
