Prototyping is an important part of the innovation process.
When prototyping, the user will often feel like they’re experiencing something real and highly automated, powered by advanced technology. The truth is that there’s actually someone in the background manually fulfilling the task!
Why do we do this? To get fast, cheap feedback on an idea *before* investing buckets of money into developing the real thing.

Today begins the first day of the Access Credit Union Innovation Centre’s Sprint To Innovate: The Innovation Challenge. As an Event Sponsor, we’re excited to support the great work of RRC Polytech, University of Manitoba, and Tech Manitoba.
This weekend, students of various disciplines from Manitoba post-secondary institutions and international partners are coming together to learn about innovation and collaborate in a fun and exciting challenge to build a minimum viable prototype in just two days.
We’ve submitted a business challenge and two teams to work on our innovation challenge this weekend!
