Today we recognize Canada Day and the many communities, cultures and stories that make this country what it is.

At St.Amant, we acknowledge that we live and work on the ancestral lands of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, whose deep connection to this land continues today. We remain committed to listening, learning, and supporting meaningful reconciliation through our work and relationships.

For those looking to connect with the community, there are many opportunities to take part in local events, including cultural celebrations, family-friendly activities, and gatherings happening across the city.

🇨🇦 The Forks:
• Family-friendly activities and entertainment begin at 10:30 a.m.
• A citizenship ceremony takes place at 11 a.m., followed by cultural activities, live music, and performances throughout the day.

We couldn’t do it without our sponsors! Thank you to Red River Co-op for their continued support of the Free the Spirit Festival, coming up on September 19. Be sure to stop by the BBQ and fuel up on some Co-op goodness right from the grill.

Rain couldn’t dampen our spirits at the annual Staff and Volunteer Appreciation Picnic!

Although the weather brought our celebration indoors, the cafeteria was filled with community and connection as we came together to celebrate the incredible staff and volunteers who share their time, talents, and gifts with St.Amant.

From an engaging Committee Expo to delicious snacks and sweet treats, it was a wonderful afternoon dedicated to recognizing the people who make St.Amant such a special place. No matter your role or department, your commitment to providing quality care and service strengthens our organization and creates a meaningful impact in the lives of the people we support.

As one of Manitoba’s Top 100 Employers, we are proud to celebrate our team in meaningful ways. St.Amant is more than a place to work or volunteer—it’s a community where people connect, contribute, and belong.

Looking for a workplace where your contributions matter and you’re valued for who you are? Join our team and be part of something meaningful: https://st-amant.breezy.hr/?
