Today marks a month since Aaron passed, and since I did this tattoo. In an effort to feel slightly normal, I wanted to post something... It felt weird posting this tattoo, despite really enjoying it and feeling proud. After coming home from work that day, I showed him what I had tattooed and he said to me that he was so so proud of me, and so happy I was able to book one of my new flash pieces. He helped me out so much with my ideas for social media and I frequently asked for his input in designs. It was so nice to be with someone that was also creative.

Here is Narsil, from my LotR Flash. I had used greywash so due to it being fresh here, it does look a bit darker than what it would look like when it healed.

This grief has been a lot... it has been a loss like no other in my life. I don't really know how to navigate through life like before, but I am just trying to survive day by day. I would not wish this kind of pain upon anyone.

I am trying to figure out when I would feel up to working again. I miss drawing and tattooing and being creative but it is hard. When I do come back, I will probably only have a couple days available per week. My doctor agreed that I should slowly get back into it, not to overwhelm myself. I appreciate my clients for being so understanding during this time. My life has been forever changed, and just trying to navigate through this has been difficult.
