The Simple Putter Path Drill!

You don't need complicated drills to become a better putter.

One of my favorites is this simple putter path drill.

Set two alignment sticks, clubs, or even a couple of boxes just slightly wider than your putter head as guides. Now simply make a putting stroke back and through.

The goal isn't to try and groove a perfect putting stroke. Some golfers cut their putts, some the putter goes straight back and through, some the putter swings to the inside.
There is no such a thing as a perfect putting stroke!

It's about learning to swing the putter smoothly and consistently for you, while making solid contact and being target focused, focused on rolling the ball to the hole, not forced stroke mechanics.

Simple.
Effective.
Easy to practice at home or on the practice green.
