I'm all for cardio but not at the expense of 💪 (a mix of both is probably best) as the study shared explains...

SERIOUS RANT – I bet only a handful of parents will read these next 300 words... (that's how bad our attention spans have gotten!)

There’s a reason why every high performing parent who seemingly juggles it all prioritizes their health above all else.

Because without it, everything collapses like a house of cards.

When you lack confidence in yourself, you lack authority in your voice.

Your kids/co-workers don't take you seriously.

And then what?

You can't become the best possible version of yourself.

Your "best fitting" clothes will stay in the closet because they no longer fit.

You’ll start waking up with a cloudy mind and productivity goes down the drain.

You’ll start to feel the effects of the stress taking over.

The excess calories get stored as visceral fat between your vital organs and make you a ticking time bomb.

The lack of exercise sours your mood and drains your energy further.

Until one day you’re FORCED to take action.

Maybe it's scary bloodwork results showing a lot of issues underneath the surface.

Maybe it’s a tightness in your chest going up a flight of stairs.

Maybe it's getting tagged in a social media photo and not liking what you see.

Or maybe it's that favourite pair of jeans not fitting at all, let alone not quite right.

Whatever the reason, there’s always a trigger.

And it’s in that moment that you realize you need to do something.

Many get a fleeting moment of motivation but don't act on it.

But who we become is always an accumulation of our daily choices & habits, for better or worse.

So start making better ones and your future self will thank you :)
