Life After Fifty

the city of Windsor - in both the East and West ends of the city, as well as virtually via Zoom or Seniors' Centre Without Walls (telephone), in order to be as accessible as possible. In keeping with our wellness and health promotion policies, both facilities are smoke-free and fragrance-free. In addition to the classes and activities offered at our locations, Life After Fifty is devoted to the health and wellness of all seniors in the community and therefore we offer a number of outreach programs & services designed for older adults in our community who may struggle with poverty, isolation or immobility. The Community Support Services, offered by Life After Fifty, are designed to increase independence and provide social contact and assurance. These services include foot care, the friendly visiting program and the telephone assurance program. These services are either completely free of charge, or have a very small fee associated with them. It is our goal for all of these services to be financially accessible to all seniors in the community. Another valuable service offered by LAF offering workshops and information sessions that create education and awareness about various important topics. These workshops are offered regularly on Zoom or via Seniors' Centre Without Walls (telephone), eliminating the need for transportation. Workshop topics include:

Life After Fifty supports the active aging initiative, and strives to adapt to current trends and offer programs & services that meet the needs of the older adult population in our community.
