We are a Foster Based Rabbit Rescue located in Windsor On, Canada. Our mission is to rescue domestic rabbits who are stray, abandoned, injured, abused, surrendered or otherwise needing care and attention from human assistance until they can be placed in suitable adoptive homes. Those who are deemed unadoptable due to medical needs are given sanctuary status and live out their lives in the rescue.

Yesterday morning I brought Blinx to our veterinary clinic because she was showing signs of discomfort when chewing. She just had a dental appointment last Tuesday, and Dr. Kate discovered a cracked molar at that time.
I was worried that it may be infected or swollen. Thankfully her temp was normal and there weren't any signs of infection or swelling. She's very happy to gobble up critical care and softened pellets.
Blinx is very sensitive, I'm trying an increase in pain meds and adding gabapentin. Hopefully she feels better soon ❤️ 🤞🏼

Blinx had her dental procedure today. She has a wave mouth and her molars grow unevenly. She has had a few bouts of GI Stasis lately and knowing that she's very sensitive about her teeth, I scheduled a molar trim.
Dr. Kate was surprised to find a cracked molar in Blinxy's little mouth. 🥺 It was super small, and not infected thankfully. But we will do a recheck under gas sedation in a couple of months, to make sure all is well.
Her sister Winx, was lost without her today, and she was very happy to "see" her twin sister again. Blinx is feeling great, and is gobbling up her softened pellets. 🥰
