The Poets Page
I haven’t written much this year due to focusing on business and personal issues, but I found my voice and decided to share this poem I wrote today.
What a year this has been
Relationships lost
Lines crossed
The toll and the cost
Like a coin that’s been tossed
Triggered by death
And hidden secrets
Nowhere to hide
Nowhere to turn
Longing for support
Why do I feel I’m the one in court
Feelings I must abort
Understanding is short
So many regrets
So many fears
Wish I could forget
And shed no more tears
But the memories are there
The fears they remain
Triggers, beware
Will reveal the pain
Hidden for so long
Buried so deep
Thought I was strong
Now I feel weak
Must travel on
Too much to do
My time will soon be gone
Healing will lead me through
Through to a higher plane
Where healing reigns
And once again I feel sane
I’ve healed from a lifetime of pain
What a year this has been.
Peace everyone ✌️☮️✌️

Just finished this poem. The voices of my inner child unleashed.
Namaste 🙏
Silent Voices Speak
Hiding in my room, silenced by the stillness of life,
A little boy cowering in the corner,
Screaming in silence, a voice that needs to be heard,
Why does no-one seem to listen?
Is my voice that weak or does no one really care?
As the Sun descends below my windowsill,
And darkness is everywhere,
I struggle to speak,
My lungs have no air.
Will I be heard, can I speak?
Will no-one listen so that I can sleep.
Who will be my angel,
My higher power,
My source of wisdom,
The answer to my prayers?
Is it you, is it me,
Is it God or something I can’t see?
Whoever you are, wherever you may be,
Please come to me now in my time of need.

The Room
As I walk into the room,
I feel the whole rooms energy,
I feel my heart go boom, boom, boom,
As their thoughts and feelings hit me.
I can feel his pain,
I can see her shame,
I can hear her think,
I can feel him shrink.
I hear what is not said,
It doesn’t need to be spoken,
For they would rather play dead,
Then admit they may be broken.
For all those who are broken,
It’s a burden they carry,
To always be choking,
And pretending they are merry.
They hide how they feel,
And their thoughts they do keep,
To a quiet place they steal,
To painfully and privately weep.
But their pain remains,
Until their shadow work is done,
Only then will they see the gains,
That will allow them to move on.
For the answers to all their questions,
They must look deep inside,
And follow their intuition,
It’s their best life guide.
My intuition tells me all these things,
As I walk into the room,
It’s why my soul sings,
And my heart goes boom boom boom.
For all the intuitive empaths of the world.
Namaste 🙏

Racing against time
As he dived into the shallow graves of mankind,
Racing against time,
In his quest for a better life,
Where pain no longer exists.
He pushed aside the mud and the dirt,
As he fought his way from six feet under,
Clearing his eyes and his mouth,
So that he could see and speak his truth.
The power of his voice,
Came from deep within,
He struggled to recognize,
Just who it was inside of him.
He howled and screamed,
At the moon as it rose above,
And the pain subsided,
As he surrendered to love.

So the winner of the name the poem contest was Sandra Starr. As promised, I wrote her a poem. Sandra said I inspired her so here is a poem about inspiration.
What inspires you,
Could it be a smile,
Or a touch of a hand,
An encouraging word,
Or your favourite band.
Or is it your best friend,
And the way that they care,
When you’re at your wits end,
You know, with them you can share.
Is it to learn?
Or is it to teach?
Is it to publish?
Or is it to preach?
Is it to love?
Or is it to write?
Is it to paint?
Or is it to sing?
Is it music?
Or is it a game?
Is it your country?
Or is it your name?
Whatever it may be,
Hold it true to your heart,
For what inspires you, you see,
Is what has motivated you from the start.
Your inspirations,
Created your motivations,
And led you to where you are and made you strong,
And this my friend is exactly where you belong.
Inspired by your words Sandra,
Hope you like it,
Peace, love and prayers for you my friend, ✌️❤️🙏

The Majestic Sun
The majesty of life,
Rises with the sun,
As it begins it’s ascent,
To its place above us all.
It shines its light upon us,
Warming our souls,
Rays of light leading the way,
As it blazes a trail for us to follow.
It nourishes all Gods creations,
The trees, flowers, insects and animals,
As they all bask in its glory,
And revel in his love.
Here’s to beautiful sunrises!
Peace,
