Thank you to systemequine for donating this beautiful Rug Rack to our Therapeutic Riding program here at WindReach Farm! It was installed by our Property Manager along with an awesome participant from our WindSprout Program!

WindReach is incredibly excited to announce that, Taras Rohatyn has accepted the role of Executive Director. Taras brings immense expertise and a wealth of experience which will significantly contribute to the continued success of WindReach and its programs.

Taras has a broad and varied employment background which includes both banking (Scotiabank) and commercial credit (Roynat), the provincial government (WSIB Crown Corporation), and numerous not-for-profit charities (children’s programming, physical disabilities, Alzheimer’s, seniors and primary health care). He is a Director of the Ukrainian Credit Union Ltd., was the Recipient of the Ontario Medical Society’s Community Service Award in 2002 and is a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International. Taras also has an extensive history of involvement in the Ukrainian Canadian community both locally and nationally.

Taras has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History (minor in English) from Sudbury’s Laurentian University, and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Windsor. Taras is married, has 2 adult children, a grandson and a granddaughter.

Taras officially started his role on May 4, 2026. The entire WindReach team looks forward to working under his leadership and is confident that he will guide the organization towards a brighter future.

The WindReach team thoroughly enjoyed meeting with, Ignite Durham Learning Foundation this week. We look forward to working with you and it was certainly a pleasure meeting Stacey and Newton.
