New Additions

This week, we've added some lower graded but very important CBCS books. This is the perfect time to pick up some affordable classics.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #50 CBCS 5.0

"Spider-Man No More!" A Stan Lee and John Romita Sr. classic story and even more memorable cover. This book has everything you want in a Spider-Man story, including the first appearance of Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin of Crime.

GIANT-SIZE X-MEN #1 CBCS 7.5

You know this one. A landmark comic published in 1975 that literally changed the Marvel Universe. Written by Len Wein and drawn by Dave Cockrum, this book introduced Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus and Thunderbird. Joining them was Weapon X himself, Wolverine, in his second full appearance. Arguably, it was the most important book Marvel published in the 1970s.

INCREDIBLE HULK #181 CBCS 4.5

One of the most sought-after books of all time. Wolverine's first full appearance. Despite having a one-panel appearance in the previous issue, this is the book you want. Len Wein and Herb Trimpe bring you all-out action between the Hulk, Wendigo and Wolverine. If you've never owned a copy, this is the perfect time to pick one up.

DETECTIVE COMICS #359 CBCS 5.5

January 1967 brings us the first appearance and origin story of Barbara Gordon as Batgirl. Gardner Fox and Carmine Infantino introduced the world to Batgirl, just months before she appeared on the Batman TV show. Any new Bat character always sparks interest, but everyone just loves Batgirl.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (1998) # 36 CGC 10.0

The day the world changed: September 11, 2001. Marvel rushed out this book to commemorate one of the worst days in US history. The fall of the Twin Towers and how even a superhero like Spider-Man can feel useless when facing true evil. J.Michael Straczynski and John Romita created a truly emotional tribute to the first responders in one of the most talked-about books in years. And the book itself is a CGC 10.0. You literally can't get better than that, and with its all-black cover, a flawless copy is pretty hard to find.
