Dancing Rabbit Refuge - Closed

RHDV2 update

It’s time to go. Time for me. Time to see where life takes me. Time to close the doors and open myself to the rest of my journey.

It is with sadness, joy, a little fear, and so many memories of wonderful rabbits and wonderful people that I have come to the decision to close Dancing Rabbit Refuge. To take time to focus on the rabbits already in my care (and there are quite a few) and give them the time and attention they deserve. But, also, to focus on living my best life. To take care of my mental and physical health. To step away from social media and to be more present.

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to all those that have been a part of this journey: the financial donors, volunteers, fosters, adopters, fellow rescue groups, and those willing to crawl through bushes and parking lots and even cross some lines to save a life. A huge thank you to Campus Estates Animal Hospital for their excellent and continued service and care. Thank you as well to Waterloo West Animal Hospital who have also been so kind.

I will be turning off commenting and messaging at the end of the month. Adoption contracts still stand and adopters can reach me privately.

It has been quite the dance.
