Many children in Uganda grow up with debilitating conditions which lead to lifelong hardship and exclusion from their communities. We want to acknowledge all of the wonderful mothers who fight for their children's health and wellbeing in the face of many obstacles and difficulties.
We also know there are many grandmothers and other women who take on a mothering role out of love and compassion for children that are not their own.
We're so grateful for all of these strong and beautiful women and will continue to support, counsel, and equip them with what they need to thrive.
