Orbital piercings vs. conch hoops — let’s clear it up 👀

An orbital piercing is made up of two separate piercings connected by a single piece of jewelry (usually a hoop). The jewelry “orbits” through both holes — that’s where the name comes from ✨

A conch piercing with a hoop might look similar, but it’s only one piercing with a ring in it — not the same thing.
