Once again, the scammers are out with some pretty convincing looking emails. Who knows, they might even fool me one of these days. Unfortunately for them, I know to check the originating email address and the link address right away.

If you aren't sure you understand what you are looking at, the circled email address is the originating email address from Meta. The weird gmail address is definitely not an official Meta as they would be using their own facebook.com domain.

You can also see that the submit button is linked to a non Meta web domain, as pointed to in the bottom left corner. This link shows up when the mouse pointer is hovered over the Submit button link.

Basically, you need to be extra careful when you get such emails. Do not click on the links and, if you are not 100% sure, reach out to your local IT support for assistance.
