Job Description: G2/G1 Gas Technicians

Job Title: Gas Technicians

Reports To: Site Foreman

Department: Construction

Location: Guelph, ON

UWork is looking for reliable and hardworking residential Gas Technicians for immediate hire. Gas Technicians are responsible for install, dismantle, repair and replace units to keep production running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Applicants should have industry experience and be familiar with workplace safety standards and procedures to ensure security.

Job Duties

Maintain, install, and repair air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems.
Perform preventative maintenance to increase the longevity of HVAC systems.
Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings.
Move to and from each job quickly to maximize your time during the day and ensure that as many customers as possible are helped.
Installation and Maintenance of all types of Propane / Oil fired appliances and storage equipment.
Provide service and maintenance to all brands of heating/cooling equipment in the field, with senior level troubleshooting experience.
Qualifications & Skills

4-5 Years of experience
WHMIS,Working at Heights & 4 Steps of Health & Safety
G1 or G2 Gas License
Hard hat, Steel toe safety boots, High visibility shirt/vest & Basic tools (toolbelt; hammer; measuring tape; utility knife)

Pay Rate: $25-$32/HR

Paid Weekly

Salary: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
